The YSI 550A DO meter has a built-in calibration chamber, low-battery indicator, and salinity and altitude compensation. The new PE membranes are standard with the 550A and provide greatly reduced stirring dependence and faster response times. Additional options with the 550A include 50 and 100 cables and measurement ranges up to 50 mg/L (500% saturation).
