QED’s AutoPumps originated the automatic air-powered pump concept in 1986 and has led the industry ever since. AutoPumps were designed specifically to handle difficult conditions reliably and safely, including hydrocarbon (LNAPL and dissolved phase) remediation, landfill leachate and methane condensate pumping, solvent (dissolved phase and DNAPL) cleanup, suspended solids, silts, corrosives, and high viscosities, along with high temperatures and frequent starts and stops.
In the QED AP3 Long 3" SS Bottom Loading Remediation Pump, the fluid is pushed out of the pump through a check valve located at the bottom of the pump. There are two lengths of AP-3/BL: long and short. The fluid level in the well can be drawn down to 31 inches from the bottom of the long BL, and 22 inches from the bottom of the short BL.
