The transfer vessel eliminates the need for expensive special pressure bailers by providing a quick, easy, and inexpensive way to filter your water samples in the field or laboratory.
In operation, the content of the bailer is transferred from the bailer to the transfer vessel. A pressure source, such as a hand pump, is connected to one port on the lid, and the filter is connected to the other port. As pressure is applied to the vessel, the liquid inside is forced through the filter and into a receiving container.
The 1 liter transfer vessels are available in two standard configurations, 1/4" by 1/4" hose barbs and 3/8" X 3/8" hose barb. Each transfer vessel is supplied with a tubing jumper to connect the transfer vessel to the filter.
All transfer vessels are pre-cleaned to EPA protocol "B", and individually packaged in a poly bag.
